The resource was born from the need to have a single source of major events happening in Chicago's Grant Park. The official sources of these events include: The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), The Chicago Park District, Grant Park Music Festival, The Joffrey Ballet, Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO), Broadway In Chicago, The Lyric Opera, NASCAR Chicago, Lollapalooza, and many others.
